The descriptions of the 25 skills and qualities in the official version posted on the Inner Development Goals website are rather brief: a name and a one-sentence elaboration. In this paper you will find more elaborated descriptions of the meaning of each of the 25 skills and qualities. These are my own interpretations, they have not been co-created in a deliberative process. But since I drafted the original formulations, I think this paper might carry some weight.

However many capabilities needed for complex challenges are emergent properties of systems, such as organizations, networks, collaborative processes and communities. This essay explores what the IDGs look like on the collective level: structures, practices, processes.
